Pomodoro
What is meant by Pomodoro actually? According to Google, it is:
“denoting a sauce made from tomatoes typically served with pasta’’
Well, then I use this in my daily routine. But what if it has some other meaning then I wonder I have ever used it before.
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. In the short break, the person gets some reward. Thus this is a very helpful technique for procrastinators and for me :|
So, I thought to try it while writing the technical paper I had been delaying for weeks. Today I as well received mail from my supervisor about progress made so far so at that time I needed Pomodoro badly.
For this a downloaded the app “POMODORO TIMER”, the only reward during Ramazan I could give myself was rest.

During this whole process of using this technique, I felt like I found my focusing ability back and it was really helpful.

I would definitely try to make use of this technique my habit while doing work thus to avoid distractions including from Cheaky Blinders or maybe they will get rid of this distraction me being focussed :|
